Is Career Services more for traditionalage students seeking majors and first jobs?
Absolutely not! Although we provide both of those services, our comprehensive center offers a broad variety of services that are of equal value to traditional and adult students.
- Individual Career Counseling is available to assist in targeting new career choice areas or confirming desired career paths.
- Resources for graduate/professional school are available to assist in selecting, applying to, and financing your next university experience.
- Comprehensive occupational information is available in print and technical form covering virtually all occupations in the U.S. economy. This information also includes employment projections, salary surveys, paths of training, etc.
- Job Search Design services assist you in developing a targeted job search locally, regionally, and nationally.
- Resume assistance as well as videotaped mock interviewing can provide you with important feedback to make a great first impression with all kinds of job searches.
- A variety of workshops and seminars on topics relevant to lifelong career development.
- Access to the Misericordia Career Connection, a network of alumni who are willing to provide careerrelated advice and assistance to current students.
- Online Job Listings available through the office's homepage: http://www.misericordia.edu/careers. In addition, our homepage provides you with a virtual office that can be accessed 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
- Extensive technical resources are available to use in the Career Library. Our current software can help you research career fields, job search online, practice interviewing skills, build a resume, and much more.

How can I access the Insalaco Center when you are only open during regular office hours 8:30 am to 4:30 pm?
We have never turned away any student who has called us for an appointment, during regular office hours or not. We will make every attempt to accommodate your needs to the best of our ability.
