The communications minor presents students with different media experiences across several media platforms as well as methods for the critical evaluation of media products. Students have a variety of courses to choose from in print and electronic media. The minor is particularly appropriate for majors in english, business, marketing, education, or sport management. However, it is open to any student with an interest in media, journalism, or public relations. Business, marketing, or sport management majors may use BUS 107 to substitute for the COM 101 requirement; however, COM 101 may not then be chosen as a COM elective for the minor.

| COM 306 | Media Criticism | 3 |
