PT 614 Integrated Clinical Arts Seminar IV, 3 credits

Fourth in a series of interactive lectures and seminars designed to integrate physical therapy clinical arts into clinical and foundation sciences from a bio-psycho-social perspective. Content for discussion includes: analysis of the impact of moderating variables such as age, gender, cultural diversity, environment and lifestyles across the lifespan; critical analysis/problem solving; administration; management and health policy; information management; collegial collaboration and communication; ethical decision making in physical therapy; overview of the PT professional association; the role of physical therapy in meeting societal needs, and the role of physical therapists as consultants.
