Important note Regarding E-mail Job Offers to Non US Citizens/Internet Scam

Misericordia University does not make unsolicited offers of employment by email. If you have received an offer of employment via email and have had no prior or recent contact with our university, it is likely part of an online fraud attempt to garner personal information from you.

Do NOT volunteer any additional personal, banking or financial information to anyone suggesting they are from Misericordia. We do NOT sponsor H1-B visas in the manner described in any unsolicited email you may have received. Further, if you have received the fraudulent email message it likely asked you to send immigration related documents and/or payment to an alleged immigration lawyer and/or law firm. Do not send documents and/or payment to any law firm and/or lawyer in response to the fraudulent job offer. The lawyer and/or law firm referenced in the email message is fraudulent. Offers of employment received in this manner are fraudulent. MU is not sponsoring any individuals for US immigration related benefits regarding these fraudulent employment offers.
