No matter where your interests lie, there are plenty of things to do in Northeast Pennsylvania!

On occasion, for something to do for entertainment, some people will travel about 15 mins to Wilkes-Barre to partake in the various restaurants, stores, and a nearby mall. There are also minor league hockey, baseball, and arena football venues in the area.

If the outdoors is your thing, MU is just minutes away from Harvey's Lake and Francis Slocum State Park. The lake is the largest in natural lake in the commonwealth. At the state park there are plenty of trails, camp grounds, and boating opportunities.

Snö Mountain, is a nearby ski resort located in Scranton, Pennsylvania. The resort features a wide array of slopes, including the steepest skiing slope in Pennsylvania.
