Misericordia Occupational Therapy Entry-Level MS Program Graduates achieved a 95% first time test taker average pass rate for 2010, 2011, and 2012. In the year 2012, 36 Misericordia University Occupational Therapy graduates attempted to take the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapists examination for the first time. Of these 36, 35 passed the examination on first attempt. This resulted in the Misericordia University Occupational Therapy Program having a 2012 first time test taker pass rate of 97%, which is well above the 2012 national average of 85%.
The Misericordia University Occupational Therapy Department has been providing excellent occupational therapy education for over 25 years. We have a five year entry level BS/MS program for students who are embarking on their college careers. We also have a weekend program for individuals who have a bachelor’s degree in a field other than occupational therapy. For those who are already practicing occupational therapists, we have post-professional educational programs which include a post-professional pediatric certificate and a post-professional doctoral degree program.
We have two very active student organizations, including the Misericordia University Student Occupational Therapy Association and Pi Theta Epsilon, the Occupational Therapy honor society. We also have very experienced and qualified faculty and staff members who are eager to serve our students. Our alumni serve as occupational therapy leaders in clinical practice, research, professional associations, and administration.
Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns about our programs.
Sincerely,
Dr. Grace Fisher
