Welcome to the Diversity Institute web site.

Can we see the world from another person's perspective? To do so requires knowledge, understanding, and sharing. There is a saying: "When I eat your bread, I sing your song". Through education and the exchange of ideas, we can establish a new level of community that improves the quality of life for all of us. We can learn each others song.

The Diversity Institute is an educational resource center located on the campus of Misericordia University. The Institute sees as its primary goal working collaboratively with community members to promote multi- cultural understanding and the elimination of all forms of discrimination.

The Institute's mission is educational. The programs of the Institute will share practical tools and ideas to assist individuals and groups as they seek to promote multicultural awareness.
