Tydings Trew: A Medieval English Christmas
The rich, true tones and flawlessly blended harmonies of the highly acclaimed six-man vocal ensemble, Lionheart, echo the carols, chants and motets for the Christmas season as it was celebrated in the cloisters, palaces and streets of England in the 15th and 16th centuries.
Afterwards, pamper your palate with a tease of delectable holiday confectionery and a cup of hot spiced tea or a dip from the Wassail bowl at the casual meet and greet following the 70 minute concert. Sisters Serving Sisters; Families Helping Families
Please join us at this gala celebration of the 180th Anniversary of the Sisters of Mercy and the 10th Anniversary and Naming of the Women with Children program rescheduled from September 10th due to flooding concerns. Tickets will be honored for current ticket holders, and tickets are still available for purchase! All proceeds will benefit The Sisters of Mercy Scholarship for the Women with Children program.

Gala Vocal Chamber Concert
This vivid and compelling program performed by one of America's premier Concert/Oratorio singers, Grammy-nominated mezzo-soprano D'Anna Fortunato, features "Una voce poco fa" (Rosina's famous aria from Rossini's Barber of Seville), selections from Handel's exquisite German arias; songs for voice, flute and piano by Ravel and Saint-Saens; Songs by Amy Beach; "Vowels" (1993) by Daniel Pinkham; "Kleemation" (2003, based on drawings by Paul Klee) by Elizabeth Vercoe; and Schubert's masterpiece, "Shepherd on the Rock." Ms. Fortunato has performed with premier American symphonies and in leading roles with major opera companies.
