Mr. Mellon has been teaching Marketing, Management and Hospitality Management courses since 1986. He became a Misericordia University full-time faculty member during 2002 and discovered a progressive college focused on student and institutional growth. He knows all of his students by name and practices an open door policy, which has led to many life long student-faculty relationships. He looks forward to the holiday season, because he receives holiday cards from former students highlighting photographs of their children.
He earned an MBA from the University of New Haven (CT) and a doctoral degree from The George Washington University (Washington, DC). He is a certified member of the American Association of Family & Consumer Sciences. He currently teaches Marketing courses. As the Internet continues to make the consumer’s shopping world smaller, company’s need to practice the theories of Marketing to make their products more appealing to today’s comparison Internet shopper.
