Director’s Report

 

  • Presented the Willary Curriculum at the NCORE Conference in San Francisco, California.

 

  • Facilitated the Day of Action Planning for leadership teams in Luzerne/Lackawanna counties at Luzerne County Community College.

 

  • Facilitated two Diversity Awareness Training workshops for managers at Metz & Associates.

 

  • Facilitated two Gender Communications workshops for employees at University of Scranton.

 

  • Facilitated Diversity Awareness training for Upward Bound students at Wilkes University.

 

  • Participated as a panel member for Procter & Gamble's Cultural sharing day.

  

  • Facilitated a Diversity Awareness Training workshop for Campus Peers & Associates.

 

 

Networking:

 

 

  • Met with Amy George from the Great Valley Technology Association to plan and co-sponsor a diversity conference.

 

  • Met with the programming committee to develop the diversity programming schedule for the fiscal year 2003-2004.th.

 

  • Met with Regina Villarreal, CSIU recruiter, to begin networking with the hispanic community and also provide an ESL program using Dr. MacDowell's contribution..
