M&T Charitable Foundation supports Pursuit of Acclamation Campaign

President MacDowell accepts a ceremonial check from Philip H. Johnson of M&T Bank.

M&T Bank recently participated in a ceremonial check presentation in which a representative of the regional bank presented Misericordia University with a check for $50,000 from the M&T Charitable Foundation in support of the University’s Pursuit of Acclamation Campaign.

The Pursuit of Acclamation Campaign has supported more than $14 million of investments in campus infrastructure at Misericordia University, including Tambur Field, John and Mary Metz Field House, Michael and Tina MacDowell Hall, Mary Ellen “Mac” McGeehan Field, and an expanded fitness center in the Anderson Sports and Health Center.

The M&T Charitable Foundation will have a football meeting room named in its honor in the Anderson Sports and Health Center in recognition of the bank’s generous support.
