Misericordia University recently recognized five students named to Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges during the 34th Annual Leadership Awards Dinner in Sandy and Marlene Insalaco Hall.
Who's Who Among Students recognition awards were presented to Alyssa Auer, an occupational therapy major from Scranton; Allison Hausman, an occupational therapy major from Lancaster; Lauren Hayden, an English major from Elizabethtown; Thomas Scott, a chemistry/secondary education major from Huntington Station, New York, and Amy Viti, a speech-language pathology major from Sugar Notch.
Considered one of the most highly regarded and long-standing honors programs in the country, students are selected for Who's Who Among Students based on outstanding campus leadership, scholastic ability including grade point average, leadership on and off campus, community service, and future leadership ability and/or potential. Students selected to Who's Who Among Students have a chance to win one of three academic scholarships that are offered by the organization. Recipients will be named in July.
