Misericordia University has legal permission from the Pennsylvania State Board of Nurse Examiners to operate a School of Nursing in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Various other state education departments also recognize Misericordia University's academic programs.

The ARC-PA has accepted the plan for the Misericordia University PA program to withdraw from the ARC-PA accreditation process effective August 30, 2017. The program will remain on Accreditation-Probation until that time. The program will not accept any new students for enrollment. Specific questions regarding the Program and its plans should be directed to the Program Director and/or the appropriate institutional official(s).

Graduate Accreditation

The master's degree in Education offered by Misericordia University is fully approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
