Directions to Misericordia University - from Route 81 South and North
Take EXIT 170B Wilkes-Barre. Exit ramp merges with Route 309 North. Stay on Route 309 for 9 miles into Dallas. In Dallas, continue on Route 309 North. Where Route 309 veers toward the Right (at the Traffic Light at the Dallas Shopping Center), continue straight on Route 415 for 1/4 mile to the second Traffic Light (stay in Right lane). At this Traffic Light, bear to the 2nd Right onto Lake Street. Follow Lake Street for 1/2 mile, come to a 4-way stop and cross over Center Hill Road. The University entrance ARCH is on your Right. Once you've entered through the Arch- continue until you come to a "Y". Bear left, then bear right. This will direct you into a half circle with parking space on your right-hand side. This is the Visitor Parking directly in front of Mercy Hall, the University's main entrance. Once you've parked, you will go up the stairs and see the receptionist straight ahead. She will announce you and you will then be escorted to the Insalaco Center located on the 1st Floor in McAuley Hall.

The Insalaco Center for Career Development is a comprehensive career center that will assist the students and alumni of Misericordia University to assess, develop, and implement goals for the constantly evolving professional world. The Insalaco Center will foster a cooperative process in which students, alumni, faculty, staff, employers, and community organizations transform educational achievements into a lifetime of career satisfaction.
To accomplish our mission we will:
- Provide personalized, pro-active flexible professional services such as individual career consultation, listings of internship and full-time/part-time employment opportunities, career fairs, workshops, up-to-date career library resources, one-on-one career counseling, and employment readiness.
- Provide the best preparation towards the students' or alumni career development in an effort to empower students to be self-reliant and confident while providing them with the necessary skills and support to succeed in the professional world.
- Serve as a model to emulate professional behavior while maintaining an atmosphere of unsurpassed, quality customer service.
- Support faculty, staff, alumni, employers, and the community at large in their efforts to participate in educational and career development activities.
