Designer clothing sale benefits Women with Children program

The Ruth Matthews Bourger Women with Children program at Misericordia University is selling thousands of pieces of new designer clothing as a special fundraiser on Thursday, March 12 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the lobby of the Anderson Sports and Health Center near the North Gate of campus. The sale is open to the public.

The College of Health Sciences at Misericordia University recently purchased the innovative Anatomage Virtual Dissection Table to enhance anatomy education for students majoring in the health and medical science fields at the University. The Anatomage Table is the most technologically advanced anatomy visualization system for anatomy education available today. Many of the top medical schools, as well as health and medical science colleges and universities in the world, have purchased the technology for the betterment of their students.

'Don't Tell Me to Slow Down' 5K walk/run supports stuttering support groups

The National Stuttering Association (NSA): Northeast Pennsylvania Chapter at Misericordia University is holding its 2nd annual 5K run/walk, "Don't Tell Me to Slow Down,'' on Sunday, April 19 in support of the National Stuttering Association and the nationally recognized student-run stuttering support group on campus. The event begins at 10:30 a.m. This year's event also features a virtual run component so registrants who cannot make it to campus can participate in their own hometown. The "Don't Tell Me to Slow Down'' 5K run/walk is organized by the NSA: Northeast Pennsylvania Chapter at Misericordia University.
