Social Justice Activities

Advancing Mercy's Mission for Justice

Mercy Associates are called to respond to the pressing social justice issues of our time. Through advocacy, education, and community engagement, Associates can take meaningful action aligned with the five Critical Concerns of the Sisters of Mercy: Earth, immigration, nonviolence, anti-racism, and women.  Whether through prayerful reflection, public witness, or hands-on service, Mercy Associates are invited to be agents of change and to work together to build a more just and compassionate world.

Social Justice Committee

The Social Justice Committee of the Dallas/Northeast Chapter aims to promote the Sisters' Critical Concerns through thoughtful education, meaningful advocacy, and collaborative action. If you are interested in helping to coordinate social justice programming or learn more, please contact Maureen Cech.
