The pandemic, which has kept so many apart from loved ones, makes us more mindful of Catherine McAuley’s call to continue a legacy and commitment to hospitality. What doors can we open this year on Mercy Day? Are they doors opened in hospitality? Are they doors open to new perspectives? Are they doors to our hearts, calling us to deeper service or engagement?
This Mercy Day, let us create places of welcome—in thanks, in prayer, in celebration, and in Mercy.
