Dear Web Visitor:

On behalf of our entire campus community, it is my sincere pleasure to welcome you to the Misericordia University web site. I hope you will spend time online, and eventually in person, getting to know more about our amazing campus, students, faculty, staff, and alumni.

I have been President of Misericordia for about seven months, but I am continually discovering new things about our university. I see tremendous opportunity for students to become professionally and academically accomplished by learning contemporary skills they can use in real-world settings. I have also discovered an alumni that is creative, embraces lifelong learning, and displays character and a moral compass through their desire to serve others in the tradition of our founders, the Sisters of Mercy.

Owing in part to its size, Misericordia University offers a highly personal experience and extensive campus resources and facilities for students. And our students learn how to confront challenges and persist in their education.  One of the attributes that attracted me to Misericordia is our exceptional record of student retention and graduation rates.  Students thrive and succeed at Misericordia—we are exceptionally proud of that record and of all the effort that makes it happen.

As we emerge from the limitations imposed by the pandemic, we will have an exciting year of new activity and forward movement as we develop a new comprehensive strategic plan and work to extend the benefits of a Misericordia education to a more geographically and ethnically diverse student population.

I am privileged to be a part of this new era and I invite you to join us as a student, donor, friend or visitor. Connect with our university on social media or follow me online on my journey as president via the links below. Thank you and I hope to see you soon!
