How It Works

A Structured Pathway from Academy Training to Academic Credit

The partnership establishes a coordinated process to support students from Pennsylvania State Police Academy training through academic credit evaluation.

Step 1 The Pennsylvania State Police verify student acceptance and completion of Academy training.
Step 2 Misericordia University evaluates and awards eligible academic credit.
Step 3 Both institutions collaborate on recruitment and student support.

This coordinated approach ensures students receive both academic recognition and professional preparation.

“This agreement with Misericordia University reflects our unwavering commitment to higher education and professional development for our members. By building upon the foundation established through our Academy curriculum and aligning it with the academic eminence of Misericordia University, we are expanding access to educational opportunities that enable our Troopers to further their education after the Academy.”
