The mission of the College of Business is to develop adaptable, values-driven business leaders prepared to serve the common good and pursue lives of purpose in their workplace and communities. The College offers undergraduate and graduate degrees and a variety of related minors and certificates. The curricula are based on Misericordia's mission and core values of mercy, justice, service, and hospitality.

Meet an Intern
Meet Charlton Alonso '25, who has a dual major in Accounting and Business Administration with a Marketing specialization.
Charlton is currently interning with the Finance Office at the Friedman Jewish Community Center (JCC). He's also put his marketing skills to good use in MU's Marketing and PR Department. In addition, Charlton played soccer for four years at MU.
Meet Remember Konkle '25, a Business Administration student with a passion for marketing. Remember is gaining hands-on experience in both digital and print communication in her internship with the Fellowship Church. Her work helps to support church events and promotions, while building experience in project management and team management.
The experience is also helping Remember to grow both professionally and in ministry. In addition, Remember works with MU's Marketing & PR Department and is actively involved in the Business Professionals Association (BPA).
Meet Lane Yergey '25, an Accounting major interning with Kronick Kalada Berdy & Co. this busy tax season. He previously worked as a corporate accounting intern for Carpenter Technology. Lane is eager to bring his skills and experience in corporate accounting, tax preparation, and auditing to a firm when he graduates in May. Lane is also a member of MU's Men's Lacrosse Team.
Meet George Mata '25, an Accounting major interning with MU's Free Taxpayer Clinic, along with our finance offices.
George especially enjoys giving presentations to get the word out on this clinic that offers free representation to low-income taxpayers involved in disputes with the Internal Revenue Service or the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Not only is George gaining practical experience, he's also serving the community! When he's not crunching numbers, George also plays for MU's Men's Basketball Team.
Meet Hunter Wesolowski '25, a Business Administration major with a focus on Mass Communication and Design, who plans to pursue law school. This semester, he's gaining hands-on experience through his internship at the Russin Law Firm. An active leader on campus, Hunter is involved in
organizations such as Relay for Life and the Cougar Candy Company. He's also the founder of Hunting Positivity, a movement dedicated to spreading positivity, motivation, mindfulness, and a well-balanced lifestyle. Passionate about making a lasting impact, Hunter strives to inspire others both professionally and in their everyday lives.
Meet Mitchell Watt '26, an Accounting major interning with Benco Dental. Mitchell started working with Benco last summer and because he did such a great job he was invited to stay on in his internship. Recently Mitchell and his Benco colleagues participated in Junior Achievement's YES!
volunteer event at Dallas Middle School. He has also volunteered helping kids on the Autism spectrum develop effective swimming techniques and helping at Tee-ball practices and games. He also plays for MU's football
Meet Mykah Onley '25, a Business Administration major specializing in Marketing. Mykah is applying his marketing skills to his spring internship with Volunteers in Medicine. He also brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to this role from his current position as a Direct Support Professional with Step-by-Step, providing care and support to individuals with disabilities. Meet Noah Segal '25, a Business Administration major interning with Enterprise Mobility. Noah is applying what he's learned in the classroom, along with his customer service and communication skills, to this dynamic experience. The marketing skills he developed in prior internships with MU's Marketing and PR Department and Blue Star Cooking are an added bonus. In addition to his commitment to academics and his professional development, Noah also played for MU's football team.
Meet Jason Giambrone '26, a Sports Management major, who enjoyed interning with MU Athletics this fall. Jason credits the internship with helping with his organizational skills. No doubt that it has! Jason is good at multi-tasking. He's also a member of MU's Lacrosse Team and Business and Scholars Program. He's also a representative for the Student Government Association.
Jason does all this while maintaining an outstanding 3.98 GPA. Jason has his sights set on law school after graduation.
Meet Anna Pierce '26, a Business Administration major specializing in Healthcare Management, with plans to pursue a master's degree. Anna is interning with The Meadows Manor in Dallas. She's a member of the For the Kids Committee and Business Professionals Association (BPA), and participates in the Guaranteed Placement Program (GPP). She also does gameday management for MU Athletics! Anna says the skills and experiences she's gaining during this internship will significantly benefit her future career as an administrator!
Say hello to Rory Scialabba '25, a Sport Management student interning with MU's Athletics Department. Rory is a familiar face on campus with students, faculty, and staff. Now he's getting to know the community members who frequent the Anderson Sports & Health Center. Rory also represents MU well as a Student Ambassador for the Admissions Department and runs for Cross Country Track and Field. Rory makes us all MU Proud!
Meet Trent Creasy '25, a Business Administration major specializing in Healthcare Management. He's interning with Patriots Cove, a nonprofit that empowers veterans, first responders, and their caregivers to heal and adapt to life after service. While helping others, Trent is also honing skills essential to running a non-profit, such as accounting, event-planning, and community relations. He looks forward to the upcoming Fish for the Fallen Tournament and making hunting blinds wheelchair-accessible. Trent is also a member of various clubs on campus, including the Business Professionals Association (BPA).
Say hello to Connor Bevan '25, a Business Administration major specializing in Health Care Management. Connor has just been named Enterprise Rent-A-Car’s Top Intern 2024 for Group 57 in Central, PA. Connor is also a standout on campus, serving as President of the Business Administration Association (BPA), and will serve as captain of the Men’s Lacrosse Team this upcoming season. All this and a 4.0 GPA! Outstanding!
Meet Owen McGuffey '25, an Accounting major interning with Sax LLP Accounting this summer. Owen is currently working on exporting data into a new software program to enhance efficiency. When he's not crunching numbers, Owen is a member of MU's Football and Track teams. He's a university record-holder for 60H and 110H, and an All-Conference Honorable Mention 2023 (Wide Receiver).
Meet Zach Kuhar '25, a Business Administration major specializing in Management Information Systems. Zach is interning this summer with Frederick Living in Zieglerville, PA, supporting the IT Department to keep things running smoothly for the residents and staff. Zach is a member of MU's Men's Lacrosse Team and a Sport Statistics Work Study for MU's Athletics Department.
Meet Abby Lupas ’24, a Business Administration major with a minor in English. Abby is interning with the United Way of Wyoming Valley, and is applying what she’s learned in the classroom to help this organization with the great work it does to improve and strengthen our community. Abby is also involved in MU’s A Moment of Magic Club.
Introducing Emma Hein ‘24, a Business Administration major with a minor in Marketing, who will soon be pursuing her MBA at MU! Emma is interning with Nimbl Digital as a Junior Account Executive, gaining valuable experience. Recently, she enjoyed a memorable team-building event at Top Golf with the Nimbl Team. Exciting times ahead as Emma gets to work closely with Misericordia University Alumni and Nimbl's Managing Partner, Paul Zaengle '97, an accomplished athlete (2016 Inductee into Misericordia University Athletics Hall of Fame)
Meet Justin '25 and Anthony '25 Yarabinee! These Business Administration majors had an incredible summer interning at ASRC Federal in the Engineering and Programs Department. Not only are they brothers, but they also share the field representing Misericordia University Athletics Men's Soccer Team!
Introducing Stanley Moderski '24, a talented Business Administration major interning with DHL Supply Chain! Recently, Stanley and his Northeast team had the incredible opportunity to present at DHL's intern capstone event in Columbus, OH. They worked on an innovative auto approval system for indirect time, aiming to make a lasting impact across multiple DHL sites nationwide.
Mahtab Peimany ’24 is currently working remotely as a Human Resources Intern at Utopia Global Wellness! She is a junior majoring in Business Administration, who is on track to getting her MBA, specializing in Human Resources Management. Mahtab is also a member of the MU Community Choir and a work-study at the Misericordia’s Insalaco Career for Professional Development & Leadership.
Introducing Max Gariano '23, a driven graduate student pursuing his MBA with expertise in accounting. Currently interning at Protiviti Global Consulting in Philly, PA, he's thriving as an Internal Audit & Financial Advisory Consultant. Recently, Max conducted an inventory audit in Macon, GA, for a chemical manufacturing company. With a remarkable six internships under his belt at MU, he's not only excelling academically but also leading as the captain of MU's men's soccer team.
Introducing Noah Astheimer ’24 and Collin Deckert ’24, two talented Business Administration students at Misericordia University! They are interning with Compass of NEPA, a local business incubator fostering the growth of young professionals. As members of MU's Orientation Team, they warmly welcome first-year students to their new journey. Did you know Collin is part of the pioneering class of the United States Space Force from the Air Force ROTC Program?
Meet Anthony Masters ’24, a Sport Management major participating in the Hersheypark Leadership Development Internship program! Here, students gain valuable work experience while developing their leadership skills. Hands-on learning and doing in an award-winning and loads-of-fun amusement park!
Meet Alyssa Black ’23, a Business Administration major interning with an IT consulting company coincidentally named Black Consulting Services, Inc (BlackCSI). As a sales and marketing intern, Alyssa helps develop marketing campaigns and supports the sales team. She recently joined fellow BlackCSI employees at the 2023 TAG National Convention in Charleston, South Carolina. Alyssa is also a member of Misericordia University Athletics Field Hockey Team.
Meet Connor Bevan ’25, a Business Administration major interning with Sherwin-Williams where he’s experiencing professional-level learning in sales, marketing/promotions, and merchandising, along with customer relationship and business management. Connor is also a member of Misericordia University Athletics Men’s Lacrosse Team, Best Buddies Program, and Business Professional Association (BPA). He manages all this and a full course load while maintaining a perfect 4.0 GPA!
Say hello to Paige Hall ’23. Paige is a Business Administration major interning with American Paper Bag. Paige is applying what she’s learned in class and her sales experience with Build-A-Bear to this sales-based internship. Her participation in Misericordia’s Guaranteed Placement Program has also given her the professional development tools to succeed!
Megan Wescott ’23 is a Business Administration major interning with Misericordia’s Marketing & Public Relations Department! Megan has also had the privilege of performing The National Anthem at Misericordia University Athletics events during her entire college career!
Logan Baxter ’23, ‘24 is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Sport Management and a Master’s degree in Business Administration! He’s currently interning with the JCA of Northeastern Pennsylvania’s Athletic Director, and Misericordia University Alumni, Brandon Heffelfinger ’22. Also, Logan is a member of Misericordia University Athletics Football Team.
Meet Joe Comins ’23. Joe is senior majoring in Sport Management. He’s currently interning with the Penn State Wilkes-Barre Athletics Department! Joe is also a member of Misericordia University Athletics Baseball Team.
Meet Dylan Lukachko '24, a Business Administration major specializing in marketing. Dylan is interning with MU's Marketing & PR Department which gives him a creative outlet for his talents. Dylan is also a member of MU's Football Team.
Meet Rebecca Stickle ’25, a Business Administration major with a Management specialization. Rebecca is interning with Compass of NEPA where she’s applying what she’s learned in the classroom to the operations of this business incubator that serves rising entrepreneurship. Rebecca is also involved in MU’s Best Buddies Club.
Meet James Pasake '24, a Business Administration major specializing in Healthcare Administration. He plans to pursue his Master's degree in Healthcare Administration. James is putting his knowledge and skills to work in an internship with The Meadows Manor. He’s a member of MU's Business Professional Association and the American College of Healthcare Executives. James also played on MU's Football Team and tutors on campus.
Meet Dimitri Brown '24, a Sport Management major with a passion for snowboarding. Dimitri is right at home in his internship with Montage Mountain Ski Resort. He plans to move west to work as a ski instructor, with plans to become a snowboard coach. Dimitri also played on MU's Football Team.
