Meet Nick!

At Misericordia, I work with undergraduate students from Lackawanna, Luzerne, Monroe, Lehigh, and Northampton counties. I know how overwhelming it can be to explore every major and opportunity, so I love helping students make confident decisions and discover a place where they can truly succeed. I’m always happy to take extra time with any prospective or current student who needs guidance.

Outside of admissions, I serve as Misericordia’s Head Esports Coach and am an avid baseball and professional wrestling fan. My favorite spot on campus is the Dean of Students office—a welcoming space where students can find resources and connect with people ready to point them in the right direction.

My advice for incoming students is simple: what you put into college is what you get out of it. Get involved on campus and in the community to meet people, challenge yourself, and grow. It’s fine to have a tough day and unwind with Netflix, just be sure to find your people along the way.

Misericordia is a special place because of its community. I once thought the four charisms of Mercy, Service, Justice, and Hospitality were just words, but I’ve seen how our students, faculty, and staff live them every day. Whether it’s a faculty member staying late, a staff member going the extra mile, or a student caring for another, kindness defines Misericordia.

For parents, know that your student will be supported. From tutoring services and faculty alert systems to coaches and a strong campus network, we make sure students are cared for. It’s never easy to watch your child leave home, but you can feel confident that Misericordia will become a second home where they are valued and encouraged to succeed.
