MU typically likes to see students with a history of proven success in the classroom with a minimum high school grade point average of 2.5. Minimum *SAT requirement is typically an 850 (Math + Critical Reading), but other factors can be taken into consideration. A number of programs have requirements for direct entry that are higher than university minimums. We advise checking the admission requirements for your program of interest within its designated section of the website. View our list of majors to find your program. *Note: Misericordia will be Test-Optional for Fall 2021 Admissions
Misericordia offers merit-based scholarships for academics as well as community involvement, and need-based awards which can total well over $20,000 per year for qualified students. Visit our Financial Aid page to learn more.
Do you want to make reunions the best celebration possible? Have you wanted to reconnect with old friends, but maybe have lost touch? Become a Class Ambassador! Our Class Ambassadors reach out to their classmates and friends to get everyone excited about celebrating a milestone reunion and coming home to Misericordia. The Alumni Relations Team can assist you with authoring a letter, or an e-mail for the tech savvy, to send to your classmates.
As they say, alone we can do so little; together we can do so much. Make any reunion unforgettable. Contact the Alumni Relations Team at 570-674-6764 or email@example.com if you are excited to bring your class together as a Misericordia Class Ambassador.
See what our Associates have been up to. Mercy Associates with the Mid-Atlantic Community are a diverse group of men and women who have been called to witness to Mercy and to share the values and traditions of Catherine McAuley, Sisters of Mercy founder.
Mercy Associates meet all over the United States. The opportunity closest to the MU campus is at the Mercy Center. The associate orientation takes place once a month, for 8 sessions. To become a Mercy Associate please contact Sally Barnes at firstname.lastname@example.org
Volunteers are needed to welcome graduating seniors into the Misericordia Alumni Association during 50 Nights to Commencement on Thursday, March 26th, 2020, between 6-8 pm. You are encouraged to talk about your profession, life after commencement, etc. with students.
The event is a great way to share your experience, insights, and best wishes with the Class of 2020.
We hope you will join us as the graduating class kicks-off their journey to becoming Misericordia Alumni Forever!
