Custodian: All Shifts Available
The primary purpose of this position is to perform custodial duties, minor maintenance and other miscellaneous duties in order to ensure that buildings and facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe, and sanitary manner. The Custodian will assist with the setup of facilities, meetings, classrooms, conferences, events, etc. In addition, this position helps with snow removal on campus grounds. Flexibility to accommodate evening/weekend hours and/or on-call/overtime schedules is preferred.
A High School Diploma or GED is required. Three to six months related experience and/or training is necessary. Prior housekeeping experience preferred.

Temporary Staff
The Temporary Staff Employee offers necessary staffing coverage and support in a wide range of temporary vacant positions that arise due to unscheduled absences, leaves of absence, employee vacations, special projects, events, pending recruitment needs, workflow peaks and other situations. Assignments will vary from short term (several hours) to long term (several months) dependent on each situation. This position is on an as needed, on-call basis and is not a guarantee of regular part-time or full-time employment. Flexible hours of work will be required, to include possible evening and weekend work.

Campus Safety Officer | Part-Time
Under the general supervision of a Campus Safety Supervisor, this position is a member of a team of officers responsible for providing personal safety for members of the university community through a courteous, helpful and professional manner. This position provides a highly visual deterrent to campus crime while protecting the property and assets of the university.
Provide security for persons, buildings, and assets of the university through a variety of security techniques and methods. Provide walking and/or vehicle escorts. Drive university vehicle to transport passenger(s). Assist disabled passengers into and out of vehicle. Assist students, staff and faculty in gaining entrance to secured areas when appropriate.

Experience
· 2 years’ security work experience and/or physical security and protection of assets training; emergency services experience including fire and rescue; military and/or law enforcement experience; experience using radio communications equipment.

Maintenance Mechanic | Multi-Skilled
The position will perform a variety of skilled journey-level work to assist in the maintenance and operation of the various infrastructure systems within the University to ensure a suitable living, learning, and working environment in all University facilities. This position will assure the compliance of work with applicable codes, health and safety regulations.
Education
- Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
Experience
- Five years of recent (within the last fifteen years) multiple trades experience that includes locks, electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry, drywall, and other minor construction and repair skills in an educational or institutional environment.
- Completion of an approved apprenticeship program in multiple trades in electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry, drywall, and other minor construction and repair skills.

Groundskeeper
Misericordia University Grounds Department invites candidates to apply for our Groundskeeper Positions. The groundskeeper will perform a variety of grounds tasks to maintain a safe and attractive living, learning, and working environment at the University. Groundskeeper II
Under supervision, the Groundskeeper II will maintain the appearance, functionality, and safety of all athletic fields performing a variety of duties related to athletic field maintenance, preparation, care and management. This position will also perform routine maintenance and upkeep on campus grounds, equipment, and tools.
Education

- Additional horticulture related education is highly desirable.
Experience
- A minimum of 2 years recent experience in landscape, lawn maintenance, and/or horticulture.
- Turf care and/or athletic field maintenance experience is strongly preferred.

Clinical Coordinator | Nursing | Pittsburgh Campus
Job Requirements:
The Clinical Coordinator will support clinical learning for the undergraduate Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program (ABSN) students through the management and coordination of clinical rotations, orientation for students and faculty, and recruitment of adjunct clinical faculty via the effective use and maintenance of clinical partnerships.
Develop and maintain clinical partnerships and secure clinical placements each semester. Communicate via email, phone and/or in person with nurse educators and/or placement coordinators to develop clinical placements. Coordinate the placement of students in the clinical portion of the program with appropriate clinical sites and national nursing accreditation mandates. Responsibilities include securing clinical education placement sites; identifying and developing new clinical sites and participating in all aspects of clinical experiences; evaluating and advising of student's clinical experience; coordinating clinical rotation schedules; orienting instructors at clinical education centers; and participating in all aspects of clinical labs.
Education:
- Master’s Degree in Nursing
Experience:
- 5 years nursing experience with a minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience
- Clinical teaching experience in higher education setting preferred
Licenses/Certifications:
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

Director of Counseling and Psychological Services
Job Requirements:
The Director develops and provides diagnostic assessment, therapeutic intervention and outreach to the student population. Offers referral and crisis intervention services to the University community at large. Develops appropriate policies and procedures for the counseling department, provides leadership and direction to the operation of the Counseling center by performing the following duties.
Education
- PhD, PsyD or equivalent is preferred.
- Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Counseling or Rehabilitation, Social Work, or related behavioral sciences field from an accredited institution required.
- Certification in alcohol and drug treatment counseling desired.
Experience
- A minimum of 8 years of clinical experience, preferably in a higher education setting.
- Supervisory experience is desired.
- Experience in creating and presenting programs, as well as experience in generating and presenting reports.
- Demonstrated evidence of culturally inclusive and equitable practices that value students’ lived experiences in all aspects of their social and cultural identities.
Licenses/Certifications
- Licensed or license-eligible in PA to practice counseling and/or psychology. LPC preferred.

Graduate Assistant | Women's and Men's Swimming
Misericordia University, a member of the NCAA Division III, located in Dallas, PA (Northeastern. Pennsylvania) invites applications for a Graduate Assistant Position in Men’s and Women’s Swimming.
The primary responsibility will be to assist the head coach in all facets of the program, including the recruitment of quality student-athletes, organization and planning practices, game preparation, administrative duties, and scouting and monitoring of student-athlete academic progress.

Head Coach | Men's Ice Hockey
Job Requirements:
The Head Coach of Men’s Ice Hockey is responsible for the organization and administration of all aspects of the sport or sports activities including supervision, teaching and implementing skills and strategies, recruiting, budget development, scheduling, purchasing, facility maintenance, public relations, community outreach, and implementation of NCAA policies and regulations. In addition, develop, organize and implement a successful student-athlete recruiting and retention program for men’s ice hockey in conjunction with the Director of Athletics. This position is also responsible for providing leadership to ensure athletes conduct themselves in a manner that is consistent with university policies, procedures, the athletic code of conduct, and regulations of organizations to which the university belongs including the NCAA, MAC, and UCHC.

Admissions Systems Specialist
Job Description:
Perform development, implementation, testing, documentation, maintenance, and support of the various systems and interfaces related to the Admissions department. The main systems are the Admissions Customer Relation Management System (Technolutions Slate CRM), and the Student Information System (Jenzabar One).
REQUIREMENTS:
Education
- Bachelor’s degree required; Information Systems or related field is preferred.
Experience
• Minimum of three years’ experience in database management and computer systems.
• Experience with Technolutions Slate CRM, Jenzabar One, preferably in maintaining and troubleshooting data is desirable.
• Proficiency using Slate CRM and writing Configurable Join queries or SQL statements.
• Proficiency with Windows environment and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with defining, designing, and executing complex projects.
• Experience with maintenance and installation of updates or platform upgrades.
• Familiarity with higher education admissions processes and procedures is helpful.
• Solid analytical and quantitative skills.

Electronic Resources Librarian
Job Description:
The Electronic Resources Librarian will provide expertise in and strategically plan for the lifecycle of the library’s electronic resources. Key responsibilities include vendor negotiation, budget forecasting and tracking, and continuous review of electronic collections. The Electronic Resources Librarian will collaborate with all library employees to acquire, organize, manage, and ensure 24/7 access to the library’s electronic resource holdings from both on and off campus. The librarian in this position also participates in research consultation, provides information literacy instruction, and serves as a liaison to academic programs.
Education:
- Master of Library Science from an ALA accredited school.
Experience:
- Three years of professional, academic librarian experience.
- A minimum of 2 years of demonstrated related experience and/or training that indicates an ability to manage electronic resources.
- Two years supervisory experience.
- Working knowledge of integrated library systems, preferably OCLC’s WMS, as they relate to e-resources, acquisitions, cataloging, and serials management.
- Ability to create and maintain detailed, accurate documentation for electronic resources and communicate this with library staff colleagues.

Job Description:
The Manager of Corporate Relations is responsible for raising corporate and corporate foundation funding and awareness in support of university projects and division priorities. The Manager will develop and implement fundraising strategies comprising new prospect (research) identification, cultivation, solicitation, engagement, and stewardship, including new prospects/donors with Major Gift giving capacity. The Manager’s efforts and activities will have a measurable impact on the sponsorship, annual fund, capital, and endowment aspirations of the University.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communications, or Marketing.
- Master's Degree preferred.
Experience:
- A minimum of five years of progressive experience in development-related work

Manager of Grants Administration
Description:
Reporting directly to the Director of Development within the University Advancement Division, the Manager for Grants Administration will be responsible for financial compliance, monitoring, and reporting of federal, state, local, and private grants, and contracts. This position works collaboratively with the Corporate, Foundation, and Government Relations Department regarding the facilitation of grant materials and adherence to grant guidelines; the Office of Finance and Administration regarding budget development and financial administration of government and private grants; and the academic deans and other faculty/staff assigned grant-related responsibilities such as the generation of grant content.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree required
Experience:
- Three to five years of experience in grant application and post grant award management.
- Familiarity with government agency research administration systems including grants.gov, SAM, and similar government resources.
- Experience and demonstrate success in helping faculty/staff manage grants from private foundations as well as HRSA, NEH, NSF, NIH and other federal government sources, RACP, LSA, DCED, PDE and other state government sources.
- Experience in higher education development preferred.
