Custodian: All Shifts Available
The primary purpose of this position is to perform custodial duties, minor maintenance and other miscellaneous duties in order to ensure that buildings and facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe, and sanitary manner. The Custodian will assist with the setup of facilities, meetings, classrooms, conferences, events, etc. In addition, this position helps with snow removal on campus grounds. Flexibility to accommodate evening/weekend hours and/or on-call/overtime schedules is preferred.
A High School Diploma or GED is required. Three to six months related experience and/or training is necessary. Prior housekeeping experience preferred.

Phonathon Coordinator
*The Phonathon Coordinator is a part-time, temporary, 10 month position.
The Phonathon Coordinator is responsible for supervising the student phoning program and support of the overall mission and activities of the department. The Alumni Relations & Annual Giving office educates alumni parents, and current students about the importance of philanthropic gifts and how those dollars contribute to the operation of the university. This position will be responsible for meeting participation and revenue targets by communicating opportunities to maintain and/or increase annual giving dollars by constituents.
Associate's degree or equivalent from college or university. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Evening hours will be required. Some weekend hours will be required. Uphold and promote the Mission and Philosophy of the University and the Sisters of Mercy. Preserve honesty and integrity in the professional affairs of the University; adhere to high standards of ethical practices and conduct.
Minimum of two to three years related experience and/or training in alumni work, special event planning, marketing, project management, and/or volunteer management. Experience coordinating large group activities is preferred.

Academic Coach
The primary purpose of the Academic Coach is to support students with Autism during their class times.
Academic Coach: At an Academic coach/participant ratio of 1:1, assist the student to participant in class, follow general rules, interact with instructors and other students. Provide guidance for student during class. Coach and provide homework assistance to student outside of class. Coach in time management, study skills, goal setting, organization, test taking strategies, and social skills. Record the progress and needs of participant through accurate and well written documentation. Complete training required by the Autism Center.
Education:
Minimum of High School Diploma required

Temporary Staff
The Temporary Staff Employee offers necessary staffing coverage and support in a wide range of temporary vacant positions that arise due to unscheduled absences, leaves of absence, employee vacations, special projects, events, pending recruitment needs, workflow peaks and other situations. Assignments will vary from short term (several hours) to long term (several months) dependent on each situation. This position is on an as needed, on-call basis and is not a guarantee of regular part-time or full-time employment. Flexible hours of work will be required, to include possible evening and weekend work.

Campus Safety Officer | Part-Time
Under the general supervision of a Campus Safety Supervisor, this position is a member of a team of officers responsible for providing personal safety for members of the university community through a courteous, helpful and professional manner. This position provides a highly visual deterrent to campus crime while protecting the property and assets of the university.
Provide security for persons, buildings, and assets of the university through a variety of security techniques and methods. Provide walking and/or vehicle escorts. Drive university vehicle to transport passenger(s). Assist disabled passengers into and out of vehicle. Assist students, staff and faculty in gaining entrance to secured areas when appropriate.
REQUIREMENTS: (Equivalent combinations of education, licenses, certifications and/or experience may be considered)
Education

Experience
· 2 years’ security work experience and/or physical security and protection of assets training; emergency services experience including fire and rescue; military and/or law enforcement experience; experience using radio communications equipment.

Maintenance Mechanic | Multi-Skilled
The position will perform a variety of skilled journey-level work to assist in the maintenance and operation of the various infrastructure systems within the University to ensure a suitable living, learning, and working environment in all University facilities. This position will assure the compliance of work with applicable codes, health and safety regulations.
Education
- Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
Experience
- Five years of recent (within the last fifteen years) multiple trades experience that includes locks, electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry, drywall, and other minor construction and repair skills in an educational or institutional environment.

School Based Transition Specialist | Job Coach
The primary purpose of this position is two-fold; to provide quality group services and other school-based transition activities in local school districts to students identified as having special needs, and to direct, supervise and instruct participants in the Autism for Lifelong Learning Program in tasks and programmatic activities in the workplace or in preparation for the workplace. Complete and quality documentation as required by the program must be completed in a timely fashion, as well as all billing sheets and information.

Health Sciences Librarian
Misericordia University’s Mary Kintz Bevevino Library seeks a Health Sciences Librarian. Under the supervision of the Director of Library Services, the Health Sciences Librarian will act as liaison librarian to the Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech Language Pathology, Medical Imaging, Diagnostic Sonography, and Physician Assistant departments for collection development and information literacy. The successful candidate will also be responsible for the review, design and coordination of the information literacy program for the campus and will collaborate with faculty and library staff to identify, review, and evaluate information literacy goals and objectives. This position is also responsible for preparing, developing, and maintaining statistical and assessment reports for library instruction, information literacy tools and library services satisfaction data and for compiling internal and external user feedback for information literacy and instruction, surveys, and reports.
This position requires a Master of Library Science (M.L.S or M.L.I.S) from an ALA accredited school and two or more years of professional librarian experience. Experience is required in an academic library or health sciences library and in developing and/or delivering information literacy instruction in the health sciences. Experience with using technology in an educational or library setting is strongly preferred.

Graduate Assistant | IT Networking
OVERVIEW:
To support assistance to the IT Networking Department including technical assistance to students and/or system users and assists in the communication and Student IT Helpdesk services needs of the college by performing the following duties.
1.) Assist in the Management of the IT Student Helpdesk
2.) Support of the University Wi-Fi and related systems
3.) Support of Conference rooms and other IT Helpdesk assigned systems

Groundskeeper
The Groundskeeper will perform a variety of grounds tasks to maintain a safe and attractive living, learning, and working environment at the University. This position will perform routine maintenance and upkeep on campus grounds, equipment, and tools.

- Additional horticulture related education is highly desirable.
Experience
- A minimum of 2 years recent experience in landscape, lawn maintenance, and/or horticulture.
- Turf care and/or athletic field maintenance experience is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership skills are required.

- Current and valid Pennsylvania driver’s license

Campus Life Coordinator | First Year Experience
This is a 12-month live in position responsible for working in the residential and 1st year student experience. Aspects of this position include, but are not limited to; managing all housing operations of their assigned residential areas, as well as planning, developing, organizing, and executing of first year related initiatives such as Orientation, new student placements and related programming. Besides working with the Campus Life Office, this position will work closing with our new student & family programs office.
Education
- Master's degree in College Student Personnel/Student Affairs Administration or a related field preferred
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years previous experience in residence life, student activities or related fields during graduate or undergraduate career
- Experience with analyzing and resolving conflict, team building, group dynamics, and problem-solving skills.
- Preference given to candidates with demonstrated experience in student conduct, crisis intervention, mediation and emergency response.
