MU typically likes to see students with a history of proven success in the classroom with a minimum high school grade point average of 2.5. Minimum *SAT requirement is typically an 850 (Math + Critical Reading), but other factors can be taken into consideration. A number of programs have requirements for direct entry that are higher than university minimums. Cougar Activity Council or CAC, is the student programming board of Misericordia University. CAC meets regularly and discusses upcoming programming as well as new ideas on campus. They are an active presence at many of the university's events and annually attend a fall activities conference.
The Student Government Association also helps to run various activities on campus in conjunction with Student Engagement. The executive board helps to run events including their annual Spring Fest Weekend and Glow-Dodge Ball Tournaments.

The Misericordia University Student Success Center (SSC) enhances learning through our collaborative, compassionate, and personalized approach.
