Thought Leaders Program

The Thought Leaders program, spearheaded by the Marketing and Public Relations Department, is designed to position faculty as key resources for media engagement.
This initiative identifies and supports faculty members who are experts in their fields, providing them with opportunities to contribute to news articles, participate in interviews, and share insights that shape public discourse. Through their involvement, these faculty members will help amplify the university’s voice and expertise, enriching the content of future articles and fostering meaningful connections with the broader community.

What is a Thought Leader?

  • A thought leader for the university is someone, typically a faculty member, researcher, or academic administrator, who is recognized as an expert in their field and influences the direction of thought, research, and innovation both within the academic community and beyond. They contribute original ideas, shape public discourse, and lead discussions on topics, often becoming a go-to source for insights and guidance in their area of expertise.
  • Their work not only advances knowledge but also enhances the university's reputation by showcasing its role in addressing global challenges and driving intellectual progress.

What is the value of being a Thought Leader?

  • The value of a thought leader lies in their ability to influence ideas, drive innovation, and inspire others. They provide unique insights, challenge conventional thinking, and propose solutions to complex problems.
  • Thought leaders build credibility and trust, which can enhance the reputation of the university. They help position the university as pioneers in knowledge and innovation, creating a lasting impact on their fields and society.
