Family Weekend– Come celebrate the campus in fall with the annual Family Weekend! Games, activities, and of course casino night highlight this fun-fulled weekend. Capping off the weekend, is the annual Dallas Harvest Festival. This annual festival of the Town of Dallas showcases many different aspects of the Back Mountain Community. With stages showcasing different performances and a gallery of booths that host different Back Mountain businesses and organizations, its not an event to be missed. Misericordia students make a statement by providing invaluable service to the success of the event!

Homecoming Celebration – Celebrate the athletic tradition of Misericordia while enjoying all the fun of the annual Homecoming Talent Show and the crowning of the Court! For more information of Homecoming, click here.

President's Christmas Dinner – The President of the University and Student Engagement co-sponsor this annual December dinner to mark the middle of the academic year. The Dining Hall is given all the trimmings with this big Turkey Dinner and gifts for all who attend. Students must sign up for this annual event prior to the Dinner.

Snowball – At Misericordia's annual February Formal, the Snowball, between 400 and 700 students dance the night away in style at one of the local resorts. Sign-ups begin in the spring and the evening is complimented by a wonderful dinner before the dancing begins. This event is open to all students and first year students are allowed to sign up for free transportation to and from the venue.

New York City Trips – Student Engagement sponsors a trip to New York City every semester to see a Broadway show for a great student deal. Past shows have included “Wicked," “Curtains," “Spamalot," “Legally Blonde," “Young Frankenstein," “In the Heights," “A Catered Affair," “Hairspray," and recently, “West Side Story." Seating is very limited, and sometimes sold out on the first day!

Intercollegiate Leadership Wilkes-Barre – This leadership program is sponsored by Misericordia and allows 7 students from the University to join with students from Penn-State Wilkes-Barre, Kings College, Wilkes University, LCCC, and Keystone College for a year-long leadership program that is guided by Leadership Wilkes-Barre.

Smugglers Notch Ski and Board Trip – Join Student Engagement for a winter vacation to beautiful Vermont Ski Resort, Smugglers Notch. Staying in slope-side condos, students are able to experience great skiing and riding right after finals and before the winter holiday break.

Midnight Breakfast – Every semester Student Engagement hosts a late night study break full of breakfast goodness before Semester Finals begins. Served up by staff and complimented by a DJ, this breakfast is one not to miss! Semester Karaoke finals also occur at this bi-annual event!

Great Hunt – This 3 day scavenger hunt pits teams of students (and a faculty/staff) against one another in a zany competition of nearly 300 items and a loopy Olympics. Angled to build School spirit, be prepared to battle it out in a collection of items, ideas, problems, and tasks to complete before the week is out.
