Students who graduate with a degree from the College of Arts and Sciences at Misericordia University are changemakers.  Our students grow professionally and personally during their time with us and depart through our arch with passion and focus to create positive change in their future careers.   This scholarship program is open to all high school students who wish to bring compassion, integrity and advocacy to society in whatever form their undergraduate training takes them.

Misericordia University was founded by the Sisters of Mercy in 1924 and our campus continues to uphold the values of mercy, justice, service and hospitality that are the foundation of student and academic life. Each year, the Sisters of Mercy identify five topics called the “critical concerns” which are in need of advocacy and attention.  The current critical concerns are:  Immigration, Racism, Earth, Women and Nonviolence.
