Explore the science behind justice.

At Misericordia University, our B.A. in Criminology program prepares students to understand the complexities of crime, justice, and social responsibility in today's world. Rooted in a strong foundation of liberal arts education, our program offers rigorous academic training combined with practical experiences that empower students to make a positive impact in their communities and beyond.

By developing a broad interdisciplinary degree, we broadened the career opportunities for our students who might pursue jobs in traditional criminal justice areas such as policing and probation, detective work, FBI and DEA agents, etc., as well as working as criminologists, forensics (psychology and theory), criminal management and consultants (jury, forensics, probation, law, government, etc.), and even as lawyers, once obtaining a law degree. Other careers possible for our graduates include child abuse investigative services, correctional management, probation and parole supervision, private security, prison re-entry programs, and programs working with delinquent and at-risk youth.
