Literature Camp
Literature Camp is held in late June and provides an opportunity for students who have a love for stories, poems, novels, and the stage to work with Misericordia faculty and students in a variety of workshop settings, including creative writing, literary adaptation, literature and popular culture, and literature in the multi-media age. The camp explores literature from around the world, including American, multi-ethnic, and English literature, and exposes students to studying English at the college level. Past camp themes include: The Detective in Literature (2019), Frankenstein (2018), Gothic Literature (2017), World Literature (2016), Literature, Science, and Medicine (2015); Fairy Tales (2014); Detective Fiction (2013); and the Trial of Jekyll and Hyde (2012). The camp costs $85 and includes housing, meals, and materials.
