Take the lead.
Nurses play a vital role in today’s ever-changing healthcare landscape. And they need strong, decisive leaders who understand how nursing practice must adapt to deliver the expected level of high-quality, cost-effective care.
That’s why our BSN-DNP program features didactic coursework and clinical experiences that are grounded in the AACN’s Essentials of Doctoral Education for Advanced Nursing Practice. All this is delivered by a faculty of experienced clinicians who actively challenge and guide you as you take on everything from healthcare disparities and chronic illness to preventive measures and wellness promotion.
Plan for success.
Our online BSN-DNP track features two specialization options that can be completed while attending classes in three calendar years over eight or nine semesters, including summers.
When you graduate from the program, you will be awarded both the Master of Science in Nursing (eighth semester) and Doctor of Nursing Practice (ninth semester) degrees. You can choose to specialize your MSN in adult-gerontology primary care nurse practitioner or family nurse practitioner. Upon graduation, you will be eligible to sit for the national nurse practitioner board certification examination for your specialty.
Due to curriculum requirements for the BSN-DNP program, the nursing education concentration is not available for these students.
