Environmental Studies Camp

Rising seniors are welcome to dive in to the Misericordia Environmental Studies experience by joining our three-day, two-night camp! Our unique NEH-funded interdisciplinary Environmental Studies major exposes students to methods in problem solving from a humanities perspective and a scientific perspective, giving a full range of tools to address pressing issues such as habitat remediation, climate change, and other important environmental topics. In this camp, you will have the opportunity to work alongside scientists to conduct water quality assessment, completing hands-on activities in our brand-new Henry Science Center. You will also get the opportunity to debate, discuss and learn from our accomplished professors who teach in the humanities.

Dates: June 25 - June 27, 2023

Times: Sunday afternoon to Tuesday afternoon, with residential overnight component

Fees: There will be no cost for camp participants
