Community Assistants

There are very few jobs at Misericordia as challenging , interesting, and rewarding as that of a Community Assistant (CA). CAs are an integral part of our Campus Life program. They are paraprofessionals who are required to live within a community and work toward the goals and objectives set forth by the Office of Campus Life. To do so involves energy, self discipline, control and commitment. Among the skills and/or characteristics needed to be an CA are: good judgment, knowledge of self, time management, a sense of humor, flexibility, and the abilities to communicate effectively, work under pressure, and understand the needs of residents. As an CA, you will have endless opportunities for learning new skills, developing a greater respect of self and others, becoming more self-sufficient, and meeting and making new friends.
