Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Certificate
Provide specialized care for a patient population that includes adolescents, adults, and the elderly. Focus on disease prevention and promote wellness.
You’ll complete 21 credits of clinical specialization courses along with a minimum of 540 hours of direct clinical practice under the supervision of qualified nurse practitioner and physician instructors.

With an online post master’s certificate in adult-gerontology primary care, you will be eligible to sit for an AGNP certification examination administered by a nationally recognized certifying organization, such as:
- American Nurses Credentialing Corporation (ANCC) — offers certification for acute and primary
- American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) — offers certification for primary only
- American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN) — offers certification for acute only
