We would like to invite both undergraduate and graduate students to participate in an essay contest, the winners of which will have their essay included in the time-capsule, to be placed on April 24, 2025. One lucky winner will also have the opportunity to get their essay published in the Misericordia Moments magazine.

Please consider the following prompt as you write your essay:

Describe how the Misericordia community (the place, the people, the classes, etc.) has had a positive influence on your life. Use your experiences to help identify how Misericordia has made a lasting impact on you. What do the four charisms of Misericordia [Mercy, Service, Justice, and Hospitality] mean to you?

Your essay should be typed, double-spaced, in 12-point font, using Times New Roman, and it should be about 500-750 words long. Please include your name, major, email address, and class year (i.e., first year, senior, graduate student, etc.). Due date: April 14, 2025 by 5pm.
