MU typically likes to see students with a history of proven success in the classroom with a minimum high school grade point average of 2.5. Minimum *SAT requirement is typically an 850 (Math + Critical Reading), but other factors can be taken into consideration. A number of programs have requirements for direct entry that are higher than university minimums. Welcome Week

In August of 2018, a new tradition began at Misericordia University. A tradition to come together at the beginning of the year to welcome the new members of our community, greet those returning and make connections that could last a lifetime. That tradition is Welcome Week. Beginning the first Monday of the academic year and running through Labor Day, Welcome Week is a time to connect, reconnect and enjoy all of the various offerings. Though overseen and organized by the Campus Life Office, Welcome Week is a complete university inititative where many university offices participate to get the year started on the right note. Just completing our 7th edition of Welcome Week, the tradition continues to grow each and every year.
