MU typically likes to see students with a history of proven success in the classroom with a minimum high school grade point average of 2.5. Minimum *SAT requirement is typically an 850 (Math + Critical Reading), but other factors can be taken into consideration. A number of programs have requirements for direct entry that are higher than university minimums. We advise checking the admission requirements for your program of interest within its designated section of the website. Housing Information

Resident Halls

The University manages Nine residential facilities: Alumnae Hall, Gildea Hall, MacDowell Hall, McGowan Hall, McHale Hall, the Townhouse Complex, two houses on Lake Street and our Graduate Housing facility, the Machell Ave. Residence.

First Year Student Housing

The strong desire on the part of the University to provide an atmosphere in which underclassmen can gain easy and regular access to school related academic and co-curricular activities.

Transfer Students

Hello and Welcome New Fall 2023 Transfer Students!

Summer Housing

Summer housing is only available to full-time students who are Registered for on-campus summer classes, summer clinical placements or summer employees.

Graduate Housing

Misericordia University offers a limited number of graduate student beds in university owned homes located on Lake St.
