Residence Halls

Misericordia University offers a variety of housing options for students who wish to share in the invaluable experience of living in community. Our communities are built on respect, common courtesy and responsibility.

The University manages Nine residential facilities: Alumnae Hall, Gildea Hall, MacDowell Hall, McGowan Hall, McHale Hall, the Townhouse Complex, two houses on Lake Street and our Graduate Housing facility, the Machell Ave. Residence.

Since all of our residential facilities are either on or very close to campus, they provide unparalleled access to University activities and resources.

One of the most significant ways to involve yourself in your new community is through the Residence Hall Association. This is a consortium of residents in your hall / house who help organize and coordinate building activities. Meal plans are required of all students living on campus. First year students are always assigned to the traditional halls prior to their arrival. All upper class students are able to select their rooms and roommates through a Lottery Selection Process that is held in April.
