Mission

The Mission of the Campus Life Office is to promote community living with an open invitation to participate in various activities and events in the residence halls and across campus, while personifying the core values of the founding Sisters of Mercy. 

Campus Life accomplishes this by:

• Fostering a welcoming environment that emphasizes equity for all students, individual responsibility, mutual respect and integrity.

• Creating a safe, happy, healthy environment where students can succeed academic, thrive socially and grow personally. 

• Developing creative and purposeful programs that are conducive to academic success, community engagement, and self-fulfillment. 

• Empowering students to strive for ongoing personal development through the strengthening of critical thinking and communication skills, ethical decision making and civic awareness.

• Providing a well-trained staff of professional and para-professional individuals to meet the needs of our students and connect them to various on-campus community resources when needed. 

• Partnering with Campus Safety, Facilities, housekeeping & Ground Crew to maintain a safe, clean, attractive and secure living environment.
