Community Standards

Office of Community Standards Misericordia University

MISSION:

As stated in the University's mission statement, Misericordia fosters intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, and respect for persons in an environment where all are welcome.

The Dean of Students Office allows for the community to bring forth concerns they may have so that our students can live and learn in a safe environment that allows for growth by engaging in educational conversations with those of concern about how they can be positive contributors to the educational environment. Our role is also to be sure students realize their behavior not only has an impact on the University, but also how they can thrive in the community they choose to live after graduation. We want all to feel welcome on campus and in the Greater Back Mountain area.

We are located in the Banks Student Center and is open from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm Monday through Friday. Students may come in person to file a complaint, call by phone at 570-674-8318, or use our online incident reporting form located below.
