Annual David A. Evans Color Run
Sunday, November 6th, 2022
10:00am
The David A. Evans Memorial Color Run is held each year on the campus of Misericordia University in honor of David Evans, Jr. who died by suicide on April 11, 2014. David was the son of Dr. Dawn Evans, assistant professor in the Occupational Therapy Department and her husband Dave Evans. Due to Covid, the run has been on hold for the past couple of years but we are looking forward to supporting this signature event once again. The 5K color run is sponsored by the MU Student Government and the New Student & Family Programs department with all proceeds going to the David A. Evans, Jr. Memorial Scholarship Fund at Holy Redeemer High School in Wilkes-Barre, PA. Each year, graduating seniors at Holy Redeemer who have enrolled as an incoming first year student at Misericordia University are given the opportunity to apply for the scholarship fund. To date, over $21,000 has been awarded to graduating students pursuing a career at Misericordia. The color run is open to all ages on campus and our local communities.
Pre-Registration is now closed but you can still register the day of the Nov. 6th
