Important Information (Schedules & Downloadable Forms)

Greetings!

We are very excited for you to begin or continue your college journey and hope you are looking forward to being part of the Misericordia University community! Our staff has been working diligently to design an orientation experience that is both informative and engaging. Some components will take place online, while your one-day on-campus orientation will provide meaningful opportunities for you and your family to connect, learn, and prepare for the year ahead. Throughout the day, you will meet faculty and staff, upper-class students, and other new and transfer students entering theClass of 2030”.

As a new or transfer student, you have been provided your log‑in information, giving you access to our portal, myMU. There, you will find important steps under the Orientation tab to assist in your transition to Misericordia University. Some items include deadlines, so please make sure to complete all requirements before arriving on campus in August. During the summer, we will communicate with you through your Misericordia email—please check it regularly.

Orientation day is full and enriching. We will host an Info Fair in the morning where you will have the chance to explore various campus departments and ask questions specific to your needs and goals. Please plan to arrive on time, as there is so much to learn and discover about the opportunities available to you as a Misericordia student.

Final Orientation will be held from August 27th-30th and is mandatory for all first-year students. Transfer students will receive tailored information regarding required sessions. Commuter students are expected to participate fully, so if you are employed, please plan accordingly. We are confident you will find MU Orientation both helpful and enjoyable!

If you have any questions, please contact the New Student & Family Programs Office at (570) 674‑6407 or email us at orientation@misericordia.edu.

Have a wonderful summer—stay healthy and safe. We look forward to welcoming you to campus soon. Welcome to the Misericordia Family!

Sincerely,

Darcy Signature
