Marketing

The B.S. in Marketing program provides students an opportunity to study an attractive and exciting major for students who wish to pursue careers in branding, promotion, and strategic communication.

Marketing majors are equipped with knowledge in:

  • Consumer behavior
  • Brand management
  • Digital marketing
  • Sales

Students who major in marketing will have a foundation of business core courses that will provide breadth in marketing and related business courses, as well as depth through specialization tracks in either Professional Selling or Integrated Marketing Communication. The Marketing Major emphasizes applied learning, analytical thinking, and communication skills.  The major provides excellent opportunities to create, evaluate, and execute marketing strategies. Further, the curriculum emphasizes the timeless business skills of communication, critical thinking, organization, and innovative thinking that will withstand changing technology and cultural shifts. 

Also, the flexibility of the Marketing program allows students to select electives, making it ideal for transfer students or those who change their major!
