The Misericordia University College of Business is kicking off its fall speaker series, "How to Build Your Career," this Monday, November 8, from 4:30-5:30 p.m. in the McGowan Room on the 3rd Floor of the Mary Kintz Bevevino Library.
Al Santasiere III '01, Senior Director of Publications for the New York Yankees, will be the featured speaker and will be discussing how to build a successful career.
Alfred Santasiere III is the senior director of publications for the New York Yankees. Santasiere serves as the editor-in-chief of Yankees Magazine, the New York Yankees annual yearbook and spring training program; and the New Era Pinstripe Bowl game program. Additionally, Santasiere is responsible for all business operations of the team’s publications department. Santasiere, who began his tenure with the Yankees in 2003, has also served as the media relations assistant (2003), senior editor of publications (2003), managing editor of publications (2003-2006) and director of publications (2006-2013) with the organization.
In 2008, Santasiere co-wrote, The New York Times best-selling book, Yankee Stadium: The Official Retrospective, and in 2009, he co-wrote The Final Season: The Official Retrospective.
