DALLAS, PA - In August, the Graduate Nursing Department of Misericordia University celebrated its graduating Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Class of 2024. Each student presented their final DNP project, including the area of focus, the project they completed, and the results. After the presentations, their family and friends celebrated with a champagne toast, dinner, and presentation of their DNP pin and class awards. Two awards were presented: Excellence in Policy, Activism, and Advocacy DNP Award was given to Amy Bunavage and the DNP Award for Excellence in Evidence Based Practice Change was given to Daniel Satterfield. Each student was also gifted a commemorative 100th Anniversary Nursing Pin and a gift from the department. Misericordia is excited to see the impact its new graduates will have on the future of healthcare.
