Jazz and More: Misericordia Summer Camps Featured on Regional Broadcast
DALLAS, PA - Misericordia University's PA Jazz Institute was recently featured on WBRE/WYOU's PA Live!, spotlighting the university's signature summer jazz camp and its ongoing commitment to arts education.
The segment featuring Director of Music Performance Marko Marcinko and President Dan Myers highlighted the PA Jazz Institute's immersive music curriculum, which includes instruction in jazz performance, improvisation, theory, and ensemble work. The camp runs July 14-18 on Misericordia's scenic campus and is open to student musicians of varying skill levels.
In addition to the jazz camp, Misericordia University is hosting a variety of academic enrichment and sports camps throughout the summer, offering opportunities in nursing, STEM, occupational therapy, business, athletics, and more. These camps are designed to engage students of all ages in hands-on learning while experiencing campus life.
