Madonna Mantione Joins Misericordia University as Public Relations Coordinator

Misericordia University is pleased to announce that Madonna Mantione has been appointed as the institution’s new Public Relations Coordinator in the Marketing and Public Relations Department.

A native of Luzerne County, Madonna brings nearly five years of experience as a multimedia journalist with Eyewitness News WBRE/WYOU. Her exceptional work has earned her recognition from the Pennsylvania NewsMedia Association and the Pennsylvania Association of Broadcasters.

Madonna holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Scranton and has completed media relations internships with the PGA of America, Pittsburgh Penguins, and New York Yankees.

“Madonna's impressive background in journalism and her proven track record in media relations make her an excellent addition to our team,” said Sam Jarvis, Director of Marketing and Public Relations. “We are excited to see her bring her expertise to Misericordia University and enhance our strategic communication efforts.”

In her new role, Madonna will be responsible for planning and implementing communication strategies for the university and contributing to Moments Magazine, the university’s widely distributed alumni and community publication.
