Misericordia University Expands Guaranteed Placement Program to Transfer Students
DALLAS, PA - Misericordia University is proud to announce the official expansion of its signature Guaranteed Placement Program (GPP) to include eligible transfer students, reinforcing the university's commitment to career readiness and student success.
As of Fall 2024, transfer students entering Misericordia with 63 credits or fewer are now eligible to participate in this unique career development initiative, previously available only to first-time, full-time students.
Administered by the Insalaco Center for Professional Development and Leadership, the GPP is designed to supplement a student's formal education with structured and professional development opportunities throughout their academic journey. The program equips students with the skills and experience necessary to transition successfully into the workforce or graduate school.
The Guaranteed Placement Program offers a risk-free opportunity for students to engage in career workshops, resume and cover letter development, interview preparation, networking events, and career assessments. Those who successfully complete all program requirements are guaranteed placement in a three-month paid internship in their field of study if they have not received a job offer or graduate school acceptance within six months of graduation.
The Insalaco Center for Professional Development and Leadership at Misericordia University provides students with career counseling, networking opportunities, internship placements, and job search assistance. The Center is dedicated to equipping students with the tools necessary to achieve professional success and navigate their career paths with confidence.
