Misericordia University Hosts Inaugural Tri-Alpha Induction Ceremony
DALLAS, PA - Misericordia University celebrated the induction of its first class of Alpha Alpha Alpha (Tri-Alpha) Honor Society members on April 10 in Insalaco Hall. The ceremony marked the official chartering of the university's new chapter, which recognizes and supports academic achievement among first-generation college students.
Tri-Alpha, originally founded at Moravian University, is a national honor society that continues to expand across campuses nationwide. Misericordia's inaugural class includes 40 students who have met the society's high academic standards and represent the first in their families to pursue a college degree.
The formal charter ceremony took place with Misericordia University President Dan Myers accepting the charter on behalf of the institution. Students, faculty, and families gathered to celebrate this milestone.
The event reflects Misericordia's ongoing commitment to supporting first-generation students and celebrating their academic success.
