Misericordia University Hosts Live Taping of WVIA's Keystone Edition Arts
DALLAS, PA - Misericordia University welcomed guests for a live taping of Keystone Edition Arts hosted by Erika Funke on Thursday, April 24. The event, held in Lemmond Theater, featured a panel discussion exploring how art fosters civic responsibility and community engagement.
Prior to the taping, attendees enjoyed a free reception and pop-up exhibition at the Pauly Friedman Art Gallery, showcasing works by Ibiyinka Alao, the EVAC project, Bob McCormick, and selections from American Dreams at The Exchange in Bloomsburg. Artifacts from the Luzerne County Vietnam Veterans Memorial by Gerhard Baut were also on display.
Panelists included photographer Oren Helbok, Misericordia history professor Brian Carso, and art gallery director Lalaine Little. Special thanks were extended to Scott Woolnough and his technical team, along with Leslie Dieffenbacher and Ariel Jennings for coordinating the evening.
