DALLAS, PA — Misericordia University President Daniel J. Myers has been recognized with a 2026 Association of Independent Colleges and Universities of Pennsylvania (AICUP) Comm Award for Distinguished Communicator in the category of Best Opinion for his piece, “The best-kept secret about the cost of higher education.”

The award honors President Myers’s leadership in advancing the conversation around the value and affordability of independent higher education in Pennsylvania.
